Hi I'm Abbie

I'm from Canton Ohio. I'm a pianist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old, and I attend school at BYU-Idaho, but I am currently preparing to serve an 18 month mission in Santiago, Chile. I am the youngest out of 8 children, and I absolutely adore my family. They are my whole world. I love everything that has to do with music, including listening to it, teaching it, and playing it. I also enjoy hiking, stargazing, and exploring the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon, but it wasn't until I was graduated from high school and started living on my own that I understood why I had decided to stay a Mormon. When I moved 2000 miles away from my family to continue my education, there were times that I felt so alone. As I prayed for strength like I had been taught since I could talk, I felt God's love for me. I was able to look back and recognize the times I had overcome hardships because of God's strength. That strength is something that I know I cannot live without. It is why I have stayed a Mormon, and it is why I am choosing to dedicate 18 months of my life as a missionary. I want to share this message with others so they can feel the same joy I experience from God's love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by volunteering at church. Currently, I teach a small Sunday school class of four year olds. We spend a lot of time blowing bubbles and coloring, but when I do catch their attention for a lesson, it is always so wonderful to hear them share what they know about the Savior. Soon, I will be teaching all different types of people about the Savior on my mission.
