Hi I'm Sophie

I grew up in Idaho and am going to college in Utah studying accounting. I love soccer, and hiking, and I love being Mormon!

About Me

I love traveling and seeing new things. Hiking is one of my favorite activities especially in places I've never been before. I went to college for a year in a big city and loved it even though I grew up in a small town that I love with all my heart. I now am planning on serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life, but as I have grown older, I have also grown in faith and understanding of the church. Even though this is the way I was raised, I have chosen to live in the way the church teaches because I believe this is the way our brother and Savior Jesus Christ would have us live. I believe that the gospel is the way that we can find true happiness, and that is what our Father in Heaven wants from us. It is lasting happiness that he wants for us, and he gives us a way to find joy and hope in our everyday life. I want this joy in my life and I am excited to share this plan for happiness with all of his other children on my mission and in my everyday life.

How I live my faith

I try to participate as much as I can even though I work a lot. Through the little things like attending activities when I can, and talking to others about my faith is how I feel I live my faith. Although difficult, I love helping in my assignment to watch over the women of my church area. Everyday habits like reading scriptures and listening to the prophets words keep me going.
