Hi I'm Abigail

I'm born and raised in Salt Lake City. I am currently preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am number four of a five kids. I've been raised in a loving family with parents who always made sure my needs were met. I recently just graduated from high school and plan on pursuing medical school in a couple of years. As of right now, I love anything that gets me outside. And a few of my favorite things are stargazing, long car rides, hiking, beaches, photography, campfires, traveling, and elephants.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been raised and been apart of this church my whole life. I went to all the meetings, participated in all the activities, and learned from a very early age to have faith in God. I was taught that I was a child of God and that no matter what I did His kindness would never leave me. As I grew older I became more independent and wanted to find out for myself if this church was true. So every night before bed, I would read from The Book of Mormon. I don't remember how long it took me but I read it every night no matter how tired I was or how much time I had. Finally when I finished, I got on my knees and prayed to ask if it was true. The feeling I got was indescribable because I knew God has answered my prayer. For the first real time in my life I had felt God's overwhelming love for me and that I was where he wanted me to be. So why am I Mormon? I am Mormon because I know without a doubt the God lives and that He loves us. I've seen what the gospel does for people and I just can't help but think of where I would be right now if I had not initially asked for myself. So, I don't know everything but I've learned I don't need to. I have faith that God succors me in my affections and if I only continue to wait on Him, He will bless me with more than I could ever imagine myself worthy of.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve a mission in the Washington DC South Mission and am so excited!
