Hi I'm Christopher

I love my family, I love music, I love skiing, I love being Mormon!

About Me

I'm an undergraduate student at BYU studying Statistics. I grew up an avid skier, soccer player, runner, and musician. I play piano and guitar and love to share the gospel through my music. I have loved learning the Mandarin Chinese language over the past 6 years and I am continuing this progression at the University level. In my excess free time, I like to be with family, friends, shoot photography, and draw.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life, I have learned to love the grace and mercy of Christ's will. I was born into the church but have continued to stay faithful to him because of the love and blessings I've received. I have learned the truthfulness of the Atonement, and how to show your love and devotion to Christ requires constant thought, effort, and obedience to his commandments. I have gained a testimony of Eternal Life and Enduring to the End through my life experiences in the gospel. I know that if I stay clean and faithful to him that I can return to his presence and live with my family forever. I am grateful for this truth and the grace by which I can achieve this godly rank.

How I live my faith

I organize events and meetings for groups in my church. I take record of attendance numbers, what events/activities are successful, and how our men's groups are doing as a whole. Once a month I have to teach gospel doctrine lessons for my men's group. It has been a humbling and wonderful experience to lead and learn from the members of the group.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. It is often called "the spirit." Heavenly Father uses the Holy Ghost to communicate with us during our earthly life. The Holy Ghost works in accordance with the other members of the Godhead to fulfill the purpose of the Gospel. The Holy Ghost not only reveals truths of the gospel and comforts gods children in time of need, but also guides and teaches his children when needed. The Holy Ghost is with us most when we show the most faith and devotion to him (D&C 76:51-53). Show more Show less
