Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm a future missionary, a college student, and I love ice cream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of five kids and I love my two parents. I'm currently a student at Utah State University, majoring in English Education. I love to swing dance, ballroom dance, and really do any type of dancing but you can also easily find me playing soccer or watching a movie with my friends. I have a never ending stomach for ice cream and I'm an eighties fan when it comes to music. The church is something I've grown up with and I've been called to serve as a missionary in the England London South Mission. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that I'm a daughter of God and that He wants the best for me. Because of that He has given me the option to have so many blessings and opportunities in my life that come through the Church and I'll be forever grateful for those blessings. I know that God loves everyone no matter their race, religion, gender, or beliefs. I know that we can gain blessings from listening to the prophets of the church and by obeying their teachings. Those teachings can help us guide our lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is a gift from God and that when you read it, you will know that it's true. It can help you through your trials and tribulations. I'm a Mormon because I get peace from doing all of these things and I know it's the right thing.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I go to church and it's one of the most peaceful and reassuring things that I do throughout my week. In the past I've been called as a Primary Teacher and I've been in multiple presidencies while attending the youth programs for our church. Currently I'm the Gospel Doctrine teacher (a history based class) for my young single adult ward as well as a visiting teacher. I love being able to learn new things every time I go to church and I'm a firm believer in family prayer, scripture study, and family counsels.
