Hi I'm Ashilee

I am hardworking. I am a outdoorsy girl. I am positive. I am a Mormon.

About Me

First off, I love to cook. When I have had a bad day, you can find me in the kitchen at night cooking/baking to let my stress out. I love to play RPG video games (best games invented). I love to use my mind, especially mathematically. One day I hope to be an architect!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger, I was "forced" to go to church. I never hated church but I never loved it. I never fully understood why I had to go though. My mom stopped attending church, so I was never "forced" to attend anymore. In 2013, I met a LDS boy who I started to find interest in and I decided to go back to church for him. I hadn't been to church in about probably 3 years or so. I wasn't very dedicated in going at the time though. As time passed, that boy went on a LDS mission. I began trying to figure out my life and what I would do in the mean time. A mission would keep coming to my mind, but so would furthering my education. When I was a little girl, I would always say, "I'm going to Sweden to serve a mission". So I knew I always had that in my heart. In February 2017, I had a car accident. Things changed from there. I began dedicating myself to church. Praying and pondering my life and what I should do. Things began to truly not work out with moving and furthering my education into college. I hit a breaking point and came to my decision. I decided to serve a mission. I know you may be thinking "why is she telling me this story", but this story TRULY changed my life. It changed how I feel about the church and the Gospel. The Book of Mormon has touched my heart in a way I can't believe, and it makes me so sad to think it took me so long to finally read it. I've never felt so much comfort, peace, AND happiness in my life when I decided to attend church and dedicate my heart to our Lord and Savior.

How I live my faith

I am the only family member active in my family other than my one set of grandparents. I helped my grandma hometeach for a period of time!
