Hi I'm Brad

I grew up in Rexburg Idaho. I didn't become active until I was 30. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father, grandfather. I am retired and love many activities. I love spending time with family, I love spending time outdoors, I enjoy Boating, skiing, riding bikes, hiking, and fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints my whole life. My family was not active in the church while I was growing up. My family was very close and we spent a lot of time together, but not involved in the church. When I got married, my wife was active in the LDS church, and made sure are children attended church as much as possible. when my oldest child, our daughter was turning of the age to be baptized, she was very insistent that I would be the one to baptize her. I went to the Bishop to find out what I would need to do to be able to baptize my daughter. The Bishop informed me of a few things I would need to do to ready myself to perform this ordinance. One of those things was to read the Book of Mormon. As I prayed and read the Book of Mormon, a wonderful feeling started to come over me. Then one night the Holy Ghost testified to of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon to me. I can remember that night and time as if it was only minutes ago. The Joy, Peace, and Comfort that has come to me and my family since then is impossible for me to put in words. I testify that God lives as does our elder brother Jesus Christ, and that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and there is no other way too true peace, joy, and happiness than coming unto our Savior, and Redeemer Jesus Christ!!

How I live my faith

I have severed in many assignment in my church and enjoy helping others. I have worked with the youth of our church, I love to see them grow in knowledge, and to see their testimonies of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ increase, and watch them, when they feel the Joy that comes from service of others. I am grateful for the many opportunities I have had to teach of the Love of our Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ.
