Hi I'm Sam

I love to the outdoors, music, and hope to become a pilot one day.

About Me

My name is Samuel, but most people call me Sam. I am a 2017 High School graduate with plans to attend college to study Aeronautical Science. When I have time to myself I like to play sports, hang out with friends, or going for a drive around town. My father's work has taken us all over world and I have had the opportunity to live in places such as Germany, Hawaii, Washington State, and now in Montana. One thing that I have learned over the last 19 years is that if you wish for others to show kindness and embrace you, you must first show them kindness and do your best to embrace them and their culture.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have always been active members of the Mormon faith and therefore, I have always been exposed to the teachings and examples of the church. Over the course of my young life I have struggle to understand how the spirit works. Through some of the small experiences that I have had while I have been preparing for my mission I have begun to have a change of heart and I am beginning to place more trust in the scriptures just as I had done when I was younger. Being Mormon to me is not about joining a local culture of members within the church, but instead its learning how I can help bring those of different cultures from around the world and the nation to a knowledge of the Gospel as well as helping to show those without a belief in Christ, or even those of my faith, how the Savior wishes and wants to bless everyone on the earth today (and those who have passed on) no matter their race, gender, country of origin, or culture. The Savior wants to bless you and He will when we are trying to live as he has taught us to.

How I live my faith

For me living on faith is waking up everyday and trying to be apart of the great big world and letting myself participate in the activities of the world while striving to live the commandments in my life everyday.
