Hi I'm Kaley

I love to bake, I study psychology and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am very passionate about cooking and baking, I love to learn, and I love working out! I also enjoy doing makeup and thrift shopping, going on walks, and eating, of course. I am studying psychology and I plan on going on to graduate school and earning a Masters in social psychology with an emphasis on consumer behaviors, hopefully to one day become a product development consultant for a food company, or possibly owning my own company!

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to stay close to the Lord, especially amidst trials, but even amidst doubts, questions, and temptations because He has proven time and time again His perfect love for me. I have seen the Lord's hand in my life undeniably so many times and His love for me is manifested daily through the experiences I have, the people who are put in my life at the right time, the promptings that I get which keep me safe and doing the right thing, and many other temporal and spiritual blessings. I know that my Heavenly Father and Savior know me and love me perfectly, that they are aware of my trials, my weaknesses and strengths, and of my potential. I know that they are merciful because many times I have relied on their mercy through Christ's atonement. And I know that there is nothing I cannot do, no trial I cannot overcome, as long as I let Him into my life and rely on His strength and place all of my burdens at His feet. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ, with all of my heart, might, mind, and strength.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in all that I do. I have served in various ways in the Church previously, and was just called to teach the women during the third hour of church (Relief Society). I am excited for this opportunity because I know it will help me prepare to serve a mission by practicing effective teaching skills, learning how to prepare a lesson, and how to follow the guidance of the Spirit during a lesson. I strive to be more like Christ daily by consistently praying with real intent, studying scriptures and messages from the prophets and listening to promptings from the Holy Spirit so I may learn and grow. I practice daily repentance for mistakes I make throughout the day, which helps me stay close to and rely on the Lord and avoid more severe mistakes and temptations. Most of all, I try to love and serve others around me and to see them for their divine identity, potential, and worth.
