Hi I'm Camille Pockrus

I grew up in Utah. I was called as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending Brigham Young University--Hawaii as a freshman. I got my a mission call to serve in the Kentucky Louisville Mission. I am the youngest child of 4 and I was born and raised in the LDS faith. I have a passion for music, cooking, and photography. I am studying Hospitality and Tourism Management and hope to own an event planning business one day!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but was not forced to join the church. It was my choice and I am grateful for the choice I made to be baptized at the age of 8. There is so much to learn in the gospel and I continue to learn and search for answers. I am a Mormon because it gives me comfort and joy and happiness in my life. I know I am a daughter of my loving Heavenly Father and that we are all God's children. He loves all His children with a perfect love. He is always there to lift us up and to bless us in times of sadness or trial. He wants more than anything for us to be happy and I have found no greater joy in my life than when I am faithfully serving the Lord and following His plan for me.

How I live my faith

I have served in many positions within my ward. Most recently, I conducted music for my congregation and was an assistant camp leader for the Young Women in my ward. I share my beliefs among my congregation and among friends. I actively participate in family history work and encourage those in my ward to join me. I have been called as a missionary in the Kentucky Louisville Mission. I know I can share my love for the gospel and for my Lord and Savior to the people of Kentucky.
