Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in a small town in Oregon. I am now attending Brigham Young University in Utah. I am a Mormon

About Me

I live in Utah attending Brigham Young University. I am studying Biochemistry. I plan on continuing my education onto medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon. School is my passion I absolutely love learning. I also love sports! I grew up playing soccer and basketball and still continue to play in my free time. I love to cook, especially desserts. Watching movies is one of my favorite pastimes. My favorite movies are, Miracle, Jurassic Park, and The Man from Snowy River. I love to read, my favorite books/series are: Fablehaven, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and the Giver.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church with a burning passion. I am continually amazed at the constant joy I feel because I am a member of His church. I grew up a member, but I have chosen for myself to continue to practice the gospel. I am continually being converted to His church everyday. Every time I pray, read the scriptures, and serve I am being more fully converted. The blessings that one receives by following his commandments are astounding, eternal families being the center point of my conversion story. My family is everything to me. I am so grateful that I know that I will be able to be with my family from time and all eternity. Not even the bonds of death can take this away from me. I love my savior. Through him we can become perfected. He scarified himself so that all might have the opportunity to repent. The atonement is key. Through it we can become clean again, be comforted, and know that we are not alone. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and I know that they love all their children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. I participate in visiting teaching, going to see a variety of sisters in my ward. I occasionally prepare a talk or a lesson to teach during church. I also attend church activities, family home evening and ward prayer. I live my faith by being a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I preach His gospel to His children. I am a disciple of Christ, the Son of God.
