Hi I'm Julie

I am a pianist and amateur gardener. I love flowers, music, photography, running, and laughing. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a faithful LDS family of six. I have been playing the piano since I was six years old. I currently play the piano in my church choir. Music is a way for me to relieve stress and it inspires me to better myself. I can also play the flute and am still learning the guitar and ukulele. I love being outside in my flower gardens and working hard to keep them beautiful. I am interested in majoring in plant science after my mission. I am a long distance runner. In high school my sport was cross country. My family is super important to me. I love being with them and just having a good time!

Why I am a Mormon

As I have studied the Book of Mormon and learned from Latter Day Prophets, I always feel a sense of peace and love. I know in my heart that this is right and good. I have seen blessings and tender mercies in my own life from living what is taught in the Mormon church. I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Parents who love me. I know that I have the potential to become like Them if I live righteously. I know that the Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know that today we have Latter Day Prophets and Apostles that are called of God. I know that they lead and guide us in all that is good. To me this means that I do not have to fear as long as I follow the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try and do my best to live my faith by loving others like Jesus Christ did. I teach my community about discovering and connecting to their ancestors through family history work. I also teach 9-10 year old Sunday School also known as Primary. I love teaching these sweet kids about their Savior and the divine potential they have. I love seeing these kids grow in love and kindness as they follow the example of Jesus Christ. Seeing the faith of these kids and feeling the love I have for my ancestors strengthens my faith.
