Hi I'm Emily

I love to laugh until I cry, have random dance parties, and sit down to watch a good movie with yummy popcorn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah and I love to enjoy its beauty going on hikes and drives through the canyon. I was able to move out of my house to Southern Utah and go to college for a year and absolutely loved it. I am now living back at home waiting to serve my mission in Portugal. I am a typical young adult who loves to spend time with friends and family as much as possible, and it is rare to see me without a smile on my face when I am with them. I have danced since I could walk and love how I can express myself through it.

Why I am a Mormon

It is a common belief that I am a part of this church because it is what my parents believe or just because I grew up in it. While it is true that I was born in this gospel I choose every day to continue to increase my faith and practice the things that are taught. I make this choice because I know that by living His gospel my life is filled with a light and confidence that I couldn't get anywhere else. I have learned how to have a greater perspective on my life and a light that I have never been able to feel anywhere besides when I am living the way I know my Heavenly Father wants me to. I learn every day how to greater love, serve, and help the people around me through the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I love what it has done for me, my life, and my families life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being proud of my religion and beliefs. It is no secret that I love being a Mormon and that I am always happy to answer questions anyone may have. I love to talk with my peers about things I believe and why I believe them. I do my best to love the people I am surrounded by, whether they believe the same things I do or not. I absolutely love to lend a listening ear to those who are struggling and a hug if need be, just like I know my Savior did while he was here on the earth.
