Hi I'm Anders

I'm a soccer nut. I want to travel around the world. I still have my whole future ahead of me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four kids, and I have a lot of family and friends. I did cross country & track in high school, but as high school went on I discovered how much I love soccer. I never made it onto any team, but I have learned as much as I can about it. I particularly love the European game. I don't really have a favorite club, but I love Leicester City's story of winning the Premier League, and players like Harry Kane, Marek Hamsik, Christian Pulisic, and Julian Draxler. I will be entering Brigham Young University in a couple years after I go on a mission to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it has brought so much joy in my life. I know that God loves us. He wants what is best for us, so he has restored this Gospel on the Earth today. I couldn't imagine my life without His gospel. Without it, I wouldn't be anywhere near as happy as I am now. The Book of Mormon is the Word of God. It is evident through the Spirit you feel when you read it, and through its evident correspondence with the Bible. His Gospel has modern-day prophets which is amazing because we are able to receive revelation through them about today's problems. The priesthood has amazing power, and I am proud to say that I am worthy and have the authority to hold the priesthood. I know that this His church, I know that Jesus loves us all, and that through him we can obtain everlasting life. When you have a question, I know that you can pray to your Heavenly Father and you can receive an answer.

How I live my faith

Currently I teach 10-year-old kids in my ward. It is enriching opportunity that allows you to teach kids younger than me. I live my faith through prayer, because communicating with God can become such a blessing in your life as you pray for guidance and help. I live my faith by studying the scriptures, like the Book of Mormon, as I strive to continuously learn more about the gospel. I live my faith by trying to find ways to serve others. I love to serve people in the little ways that may not seem to do a whole lot, but it will always make someone's day.
