Hi I'm Harlie

I am from Idaho and am preparing to go serve the Lord in Tempe Arizona. I am excited for this wonderful opportunity!

About Me

I graduated from high school in June, 2017. Through the summer I have been preparing myself for a mission. I received my call to Tempe Arizona on September 12, 2017 and will leave October 18, 2017. I have about a month to prepare and I am so excited for this amazing opportunity to carry out the Lord's work. Some of my favorite hobbies is music. I play two wonderful instruments, the piano and the trumpet. Music is my life and I love the way it makes me feel. I have grown up on a farm my whole life with cows, chickens, and lots of pipe moving. I am very blessed to know the true meaning of hard work. My family and I are very dedicated to this farm and we know that hard work is the only way to keep it running successfully. I love the saying "Live so that those who don't know Him, but know you, will want to know Him because they know you." I am so excited to be serving the Lord and his people! I hope that I will be able to connect and show the love that our Savior has for each and everyone of us.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown being a Mormon. My family has always been very active in this church and their callings. I have never really known what it is like without this religion in my life I am very blessed to have the Savior as my best friend. He knows each and everyone of us loves us for who we truly are. Through trials and tribulations, I have found comfort and peace when I look towards prayer and scripture. I am truly happy when I keep the Savior in my life.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I go to church in the Single's Ward. It is full of wonderful people that are just graduated from high school. or are waiting to leave for college. I was recently called to be a ward missionary, and it has truly blessed my life. Ward missionaries are like sidekicks to the full time missionaries. They help them go on visits or anything else they need help with. I love this calling as it prepares me for experiences I will have on my mission. I have had the chance to visit and become friends with non-members and less active people. My job is to provide friendship and love throughout the young single adults. Being a ward missionary has brought wonderful people into my life that I have developed friendships with. I have enjoyed being a ward missionary.
