Hi I'm Nicole

I'm from Colorado Springs. I'm serving in the Cleveland Ohio Mission. I know how to solve a Rubik's cube. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I moved states a bit when I was younger, but I definitely consider Colorado Springs to be my hometown. I love Colorado and the mountains. I play tennis & lovee music. I am the youngest of 8 children, all of which served a mission before me. My siblings are my best friends and great examples. Before my mission I attended Brigham Young University in Idaho and studied Business/marketing. Now I am serving a mission in Ohio and learning a lot about the early history of the church and am really enjoying my time here! I love my family and friends but most of all I love this gospel. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and raised by my wonderful, loving parents to live the Gospel standards. However, I am not a Mormon by chance, but by choice. I have come to know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true, and that the same Gospel that Jesus Christ taught and established when he was on the Earth, has been restored in its fullness by a living day prophet. God is our loving Heavenly Father. He knows us by name and knows all that we are going through. He loves us more than we can comprehend and He wants to help and bless us. He has continued to provide answers and guidance to us today even as in Biblical times. We have a living day Prophet and we have the Book of Mormon to learn more of our Savior, Jesus Christ and all that He has done for us. The Book of Mormon also answers questions of the soul. I know that as we read the Book of Mormon and pray to our Father in Heaven to know of its truthfulness, He will answer us. He will never leave us in the dark. This gospel is so true and provides so much light and hope in this crazy world. I am grateful for the sense of purpose and belonging that this gospel brings me and I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I show my love for Him by keeping His commandments, and sharing His gospel.

How I live my faith

Although I am far from perfect, I try to live my faith through following the perfect example of Jesus Christ. I know that faith is an action word, and if we want to strengthen our faith, we need to be constantly acting in a way that Christ would have us act. I attend church every Sunday and regularly make the effort to strengthen my testimony. I read from the Bible and Book of Mormon daily, and pray often. I have devoted the next 18 months of my life to serving the Lord, and sharing His gospel. I truly know that we are all sons and daughters of our loving Heavenly Father and I really love sharing that knowledge with those who may not know. :)

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?
