Hi I'm Lochlan

I was born and raised in Alaska, I am the oldest of eight siblings, a lifetime member of the LDS church.

About Me

I am the oldest of eight children. I enjoy reading, welding, playing video games, soccer, swimming, and riding my bike. I was the captain of my schools drama/debate team in high school, and I was a lead for a number of school musicals. I have dreams of traveling the world someday, and eventually want to pursue a career in voice acting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but as I have grown older I have continued to follow the gospel not because it was expected of me, but because I love its teachings and I know them to be true. I have had spiritual experiences in my life that have been so strong that there is no way I could deny them, and it is from these that I have a testimony of some of the key principles of the church, like the truth of the Book of Mormon, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. However, the majority of my testimony comes from small and simple things that I do everyday. Things like reading my scriptures and praying. These thing give me little bursts of the spirit, and little by little makes a little a lot. I know this church is true, and I love this gospel. The knowledge contained in my testimony means everything to me, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

How I live my faith

I am a family history consultant, helping people find more out about their ancestry. I have been a lifeguard at our local pool for two years no, and am currently preparing to serve on a mission in Idaho for the church.
