Hi I'm Abigail Montague

I'm from a small village in southern Alberta, Canada, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated high school from a class of 18, and I'm currently preparing to serve a mission. I love reading, cooking, being outdoors, and taking pictures!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel the Spirit testify to me of the truthfulness of the things that are taught in the Gospel. I know that Jesus Christ was willing to come to earth to suffer for my sins and die so that I can return to live with my Father in Heaven again someday. He genuinely knows and loves me, more than I can even comprehend. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God, and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ did appear to him. I know that God has not ceased providing us with revelation, because we have a living prophet in this earth who speaks on His behalf, and testifies of Him. I know that this is the true and living church in this earth because the priesthood keys were restored to it, and are held by the prophet of God, President Thomas S. Monson. This knowledge that I have brings my soul so much peace, and comfort, and joy. I know that it is true, and I love it.

How I live my faith

Before church on Sunday, I am responsible for preparing the weekly bulletin. It is an easy task but I love that I can to contribute to the ward. From the age of 12 to 18, I attended Young Women's with the other girls in our ward. There I served in callings as a class president and councillor. I loved being able to serve and become friends with so many kind ladies!
