Hi I'm Collin

I grew up in Orem. I am a BYU student dedicated to helping kids in the medical field. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU, and I love to learn new things! I've literally changed my major four times during my freshman year. Before leaving on my mission, I worked as a swim teacher and an EMT. I love to swim, and I competed on a swim team for a few years. I also am a huge drama geek, and I love to act and sing in plays and musicals. One of my favorite things in the world is being with and helping kids. I had the opportunity to participate in a couple of summer camps for kids with medical problems. These experiences were some of the best in my life, and I wouldn't give them up for anything. Most of all, I love my family, and the relationship we have means so much to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family, and I have been able to see first hand that, just like the prophets say, happiness in the family is found when based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I have prayed about the teachings of the Church myself and felt the confirmation that they are true. I am a Mormon and a missionary because I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the way to true and lasting happiness. Everyone needs the Gospel, especially in the world we live in now.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by fulfilling my callings and helping others when they need me. Most of the time, I don't feel like I would be the best for the calling my church leaders want me to fulfill, but I always end up learning so much and (hopefully) helping others out too. I do my best to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and treat others with kindness and love. I am for sure not perfect, but it takes practice to change and get better (just like any other thing worth doing).
