Hi I'm Taylor

I am from West Jordan, Utah! I love the outdoors, my family, and the gospel!

About Me

I love the outdoors! Camping, fishing, boating, are all some of my favorite things! I love to listen to music and go on adventures with my friends! I also love sports, everything from track and field, to football, to volleyball! And I’m so excited to be able to serve a mission and use my love for these things to connect with people and teach them the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

My entire family was born and raised in the church, my ancestors go back generations with the first members of the church and they even helped the members cross the Great Plains to the salt lake valley. But being raised in the church was only the first step, I still had to gain my own personal testimony of the gospel and I did that through attending seminary classes and reading my scriptures and serving as many people as I could throughout my youth. As I prepared to serve a full time mission for the church I was a little nervous at first. I was about to leave behind everything and everyone I had ever known in my entire 18 years of life. But because of my faith, and because I was doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing I was blessed. In the face of one of the most challenging things I had ever done, I realized that I was also the happiest I had ever been. I felt more at peace with my life and my decision to serve then ever before, and I knew that this was my Heavenly Father comforting me and letting me know I was doing the right thing. This gospel is true and will bless your life more then anything else on this earth. I can promise you that. That’s why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church, I’ve been a very big part of a lot of the groups and quorums! I served as president of the deacons, teachers, and priests, I served as senior patrol leader in our scout troop, also achieving my Eagle Scout award! Before leaving on my mission I was called as an assistant teacher in the primary! And then of course the greatest calling of all, the call to be a full time missionary!
