Hi I'm Brina G.

I am from the United States. I love being involved in community and government organizations. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a full time college student, and waiting to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a few months. I enjoy learning about history, governments, and politics. I also love music, and play the piano and guitar. In high school, I struggled with finding good friends, and was often left out of social events. By reading the Book of Mormon every day and praying to God, I was able to overcome this challenge, and later served in a student leadership office my senior year. I know that with God all things are possible, and we can become who we want to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the teachings and doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints bring me true, constant joy. I have found through personal experience that light and joy come through Jesus Christ and His gospel. I am a Mormon because I believe in the Book of Mormon, and know that by reading it we are strengthened mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally, to weather the storms of life. I am a Mormon because I believe in families and eternal relationships. Most of all, I am a Mormon because I love God, and was to serve Him forever.

How I live my faith

Within my community I live my faith be serving those around me. Around the holidays I enjoy visiting nursing homes and singing carols with the residents. I help people with yard work, or other projects they may have. I also make an effort to be kind to everyone. With all the anger and hate in the world today, I think it important to do all I can to share goodness and light. One person can make a difference in someone's life. I strive to do what is moral and right. I stand up for what I believe, and am not afraid to express my beliefs to others.
