Hi I'm Connor

I love horses, being outside and helping people. I love my family, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

If there is an activity that is outside, I'm all in. I do it all, but my passions are elk hunting, fly fishing, skiing, camping, and swimming. I currently study wildlife ecology at BYU-I and I love every second of it. I want to go to med school to be a surgeon of some kind because I love making peoples lives better. When I find something I love, I want to share it with those I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of the power of the Atonement. It was not some big act that happened all at once. It was on an individual basis, and through his sacrifice, I believe that Jesus Christ came to know each of us on a very deep, personal level. In my life, when I use that atoning sacrifice as a part of my repentance, I can feel how deeply he loves me, no matter what I have done. I know that this love is eternal, that there is nothing I will ever be able to do that will drive it out of my life. I know that through the Atonement, there is hope for all of us. That we might be clean someday, and be forgiven of our sins. I have felt this power, and it is real. I cannot do without it in my life, for me, repenting is an everyday thing of trying to be better. There are days I succeed better than others, but I know that the price has been paid for me, and that if I will do my best, and continue to repent, it will be ok. My slack will be and has been taken up through the Atoning blood of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon because it gives me hope. Because I'm a Mormon, I know that families can be sealed for time and all eternity. I know that the temple is the house of the Lord. Because I'm a Mormon, I know my Savior on a very personal level.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, to labor in the Argentina Buenos Aires South mission, reporting to the Argentina Missionary Training Center on October 19, 2017. I have looked forward to this time for my entire life, and I am anxiously waiting for the time to come when I can be set apart as one who is called to preach the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even now, as I work, I take any opportunity I get to tell others about what I am about to go and do. In all I can, I try to live my life so that I may an example of one who follows Jesus Christ, and represents him through my actions.
