Hi I'm Rachel

I'm Scottish, of Indian/Italian decent, Family is my everything, I love to travel and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Scotland but i'm of Indian/Italian descent, i'm the youngest of three children and i love to travel the world. I'm happiest when i'm in a new country meeting new people and experiencing and learning about different cultures. I grew up in the Mormon church and have been blessed to meet people from all over the world because of that.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have grown up in the church i have had the blessing of always knowing that i will be with my family forever which is so important to me but as I've grown, like any normal person i have had questions and wanted to truly know if the church is true. Through my desire to find out of the truthfulness of the gospel i can truly say that by living the gospel of Jesus Christ there is nothing that gives me greater happiness than the church, and the knowledge that families can be eternal. The Holy Ghost is such a wonderful gift and by living by gospel principles, scripture study and prayer i have been blessed to have the spirit with me to testify of the truthfulness of the church and know of my divine potential through my Heavenly Fathers plan.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday through simple acts, for me being a latter day Saint does not only require Sunday church attendance but having the everyday desire to become a better version of myself so that I can be a blessing to people around me. I currently teach the nursery children at church which i really love as their innocence and simple outlook on life and the church is a constant reminder to focus on the good things in life. Living the gospel takes patience and love with yourself and others and i think one of the best ways to do this is by serving others.
