Hi I'm Ítalo

I grew up in Fortaleza. I'm serving a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 and like soccer, boxing and video games. Before coming to serve a mission, I was in colege.

Why I am a Mormon

When the missionaries came to my house, they were after my parents, since they were already members, and I was there by chance, when I was 10. My parents never told me a thing about the church. The missionaries taught me and I knew that what they said was true after I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to ask god about it. The answer was completely different than I expected. It simple made sense and I knew it was true. But before I was baptized my parents stressed how important the baptism is and only after 2 weeks attending church meetings that I could be baptized. Since then, I've been true to the faith, even going alone to the church for 9 years, and I am sure that this is the Church of Jesus Christ restored on these days and that He calls prophets that receive revelation directly from him to direct the Church. I'm serving a mission now to share the happiness that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ brought to me and my family, and just a little while ago, while serving this mission, my parents sent me an e-mail, saying that they are coming back to the church. I'm so happy, because I know that through obedience to the commandments and following His gospel, we can live forever as a family with the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm a full-time missionary, serving the Canada Winnipeg Mission. Before I came to serve, I was serving as teacher to children from ages 8-11.
