Hi I'm Mineli

I from Belize. Been a member of the Church my whole life.

About Me

I'm the youngest and only girl. I have 3 older brothers. I love music and also play the piano and guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, my parents are converts. So i grew up being told the church is true, but like all member's, at some point you need to find your own testimony if the gospel is true. I remember when i was in my teens i felt there was too many rules. Why i can't do this, why i can't do that, and so on. I always remember my mother telling me that the commandment are there because our Heavenly Father loves us. I had never looked at it in that perspective. I am very blessed to have a great relationship with my older brothers and they always looked out for. My oldest brother was able to share his testimony and how he has never been more happy in his life, and that was because of living the gospel and keeping the commandments. I remember the great desire I had to be as happy as he was. So I began reading the scriptures, had a new attitude to keeping the commandments and saw them as love and not restrictions. And I'm so grateful to say that I have never been more happier in my life. There is nothing more sweet and joyful than living the gospel and have a true testimony of its truth. Even when times of trials may come, I am filled with peace knowing that whatever happens, our Heavenly Father loves us, and that there is always a greater purpose, even when its hard to find. My testimony has been strengthen in times of trial and great need. But as I put my trust in our Heavenly Father, He will always bless us, comfort us and provide a way. Our Heavenly Father's intentions are never to hurt us, for he grieves when we grieve. He wants nothing more than to give us every single blessing he can possibly give. We just have to be willing to do our part and He shall do the rest, and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm currently the seminary teacher of our branch and I'm also the Young Women secretary. I teach work with the youth alot and love participating in the planning of youth activities.
