Hi I'm Mark

I am a high school graduate, an eagle scout, a future college student, a future missionary, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live up in Northern Colorado. I like to go camping and hiking. I have hiked two of Colorado's fourteeners. While in high school, I was able to earn my Eagle in Boy scouts. I also like building things and seeing how things work. I plan on majoring in mechanical engineering at BYU Idaho after competing a full time mission for my church.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a member of the church all her life, but my father joined when he was 20. As a result, I have seen and experienced many blessings in my family from being a member of this church. For instance, it has helped bring us closer together by teaching us to love and care about each other. It has also taught us the importance of giving service to others. Most importantly, it has given us the goal of living our lives so that we can continue our family relationships forever. Ultimately, I am a member because I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that the teachings found in it, and this church are true.

How I live my faith

I try to serve others frequently. If there is an opportunity to help out, I try to pitch in as best I can. It doesn't have to be big. It can small and simple, as long as it makes someone's day better. I also strive to do simple things such as daily scripture study, prayer, and attending church on Sunday. Additionally, I try to make good choices in what I do and say.
