Hi I'm Mali

I grew up in Utah. I love bubbles, video games, and children. I have depression and anxiety. I am a Mormon.

About Me

As I said in my intro, I have anxiety and depression. So I love to find things that make me smile: Blowing dandelions, jumping in puddles, and singing in the rain. What makes me smile most, are children.

Why I am a Mormon

I would not be here if there was not a Father in Heaven. I would not be alive. What makes this statement so legitimate is my depression. It came to a point, early in my life, when I did not want to live anymore. Everyday was a day too long. I wanted out. The point of this is, God intervened. If I had not been a mormon, if I had not had that close relationship with my Father in Heaven, I wouldn't be here. From that point on, as I learned more about the gospel, I saw its truth. That our Family was eternal. That Christ suffered all of our pains, sins, afflictions for us. That Heavenly Father Sacrificed His only begotten son, that we might return to live with Him again. There is no other religion that has the full truth of the gospel. No other church that can bring us closer to God, than this church. That is why I chose, and still choose, to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As I spoke of above, I love children. I also love God. When I am reminded of how we are all His children, I cannot help but love the people I come in contact with. I have served in many leadership positions both in Church and in School. In these leadership positions I have had the opportunity to work with those who are difficult to love. Similar to a porcupine, they must be handled with care. I have given my love to these individuals, pouring it out till it seemed I could give no more. Yet I would reach up to Heavenly Father and somehow find the strength to keep loving them. How I live my faith, is by giving my love to everyone of His children.
