Hi I'm Mary Jean Campbell

I grew up in the small northern Utah town of Mendon. I graduated from USU with a degree in Elementary Education, had 3 children.

About Me

I taught elementary school for 22 years and loved it. I love to garden both flowers and vegetables. I love the mountains and one of my favorite places is Island Park, Idaho where I enjoy our cabin and the out of doors with my family. One of my favorite hobbies riding my mountain bike through the forest in Island Park or just about any where on trails that are not too steep I love my family and especially 9 beautiful grandchildren that are most precious to me. I love to travel and our most recent trip took us to the heather laden hills of Scotland. Our most notable adventure was living in Kenya where our 2nd son was born. Now my husband and I are retired and enjoy our children, grandchildren and our garden and yard. I am now serving a mission with my husband where we can live at home and serve the Lord by bringing others to Christ. What a blessing!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and I love my Savior Jesus Christ. He is my rock and foundation of life. When life gets hard, I have found a true friend that I can always turn to is my Heavenly Father. He is always there no matter where I am or what I am doing. My Heavenly Father's love is so unconditional. The world may change and betray you but God will not. He is always there. What a blessing to have the love of God in my life.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the church. My calling to work with young children and teach them about blessings of having Christ as the center of their lives was so fulfilling as I watched them follow the example of Jesus Christ. Then working with the young women ages 12-17 was so exciting to take them to camp and teach them about how the gospel could be the foundation of all that is good in life. Working with the older women in our church helped me to find new friends, skills, and sharing the blessing of living a Christ centered life with many blessed friends both young and old. We laughed together, worked together and cried together. What a blessing to have each other in good time and hard times.
