Hi I'm Brenna

My favorite book is "The Book Thief". I'm serving a mission in Villahermosa, Mexico from November 2017-May 2019. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel, and have been to Norway and Taiwan on amazing trips. I enjoy reading and writing. My family is my favorite thing in the world, and I love getting to hang out with them and play games together. Especially the game Wits&Wagers!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is no other place to find such peace and love given so freely as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through personal scripture study, fervent prayer, and leaps of faith, I have found Jesus Christ. He is in the details of my life. Life as a diligent Mormon is never easy, but time and time again it has been proved to me that it is worth it. This gospel is true, and all those who earnestly seek it will receive answers to their prayers. To that I can add my own witness. Sometimes it isn't the answer I want to hear, but through it all I have been taught more than I could have ever hoped.

How I live my faith

Often times the simplest and most rewarding way to live my faith is by giving service. I love helping out the elderly in my neighborhood, they are so sweet! I also read/study the scriptures on my lunch break at work, which invites peace into my day. I have a calling where I get to come up with fun activities for my Young Single Adult ward, which is great!

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Brenna
Mormons are not required to serve missions, however it is encouraged. I personally have always wanted to serve a mission. It is a great opportunity to become stronger spiritually, become more self-reliant, and prepare yourself for life. The strongest drive I have in wanting to serve a mission is when you love something this much, you want to share it with the world. I am so grateful for the opportunity to get to share this marvelous work with the world. Show more Show less
