Hi I'm David

I'm a brother, son, BYU student, missionary. I love sports and outdoor activities. Born and raised in California. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I live in California, and love the beauty of this state. I love to travel, and I really want to travel the world. I am 19 years old, and am the third child of six. Of those children, I am the oldest boy. In high school, I played football and rugby, and was also involved in student government and other extracurricular activities. I enjoy sports, hiking, swimming, and being outdoors. My favorite professional teams are the All Blacks (rugby), San Fransisco Giants (baseball), the San Fransisco 49ers (football) and the Sacramento Kings (basketball). My favorite sport is rugby, and I plan on playing rugby in college. I am a freshmen in college and I'm still deciding on my major. I love hanging out with friends and family, and I'm always down for a dance party.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have to come to know and love the truth of this gospel. It is because of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that I know I can live with my family for time and all eternity. I know that the Savior knows me and my struggles individually, and because of that I can overcome anything. I know the Savior lives and loves me. I am a Mormon because I know I need Him, that I cannot overcome anything without his help and guidance. I am so grateful to be born into a loving family that already had the gospel in their lives and raised me with this light in my life. This is why I am a Mormon, because this gospel is true and brings so much hope and peace to my soul.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by setting an example. I am the oldest son in my family, and am one of the oldest youth in my home ward. I need to show my siblings and the younger youth the importance of being obedient and worthy. I think it is important that I show the younger youth that it is cool to be Mormon while in high school, and it doesn't matter what people think when you tell them you don't drink. I live my faith by being a missionary, and being happy to share my religion with those who ask. I live my faith by constantly striving to become like our Lord and Savior and being the best version of me that I can be. I want to be known as a reliable and honest person, and I can do that by becoming like Him.
