Hi I'm Isaac

I'm a geology student at BYU. I like to play sports and video games with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live just outside of a small town in Montana, but have lived many places including San Francisco and Paris. I chose to be homeschooled through high school, but played baseball and flag football on local teams. I am the second of four brothers, one of which is a return missionary from the Texas, Dallas mission, and one who is currently attending school in Virginia for law. I am a sophomore geology student at BYU and love looking for rocks. I have always liked animals; when I was a kid I had a zebra finch and a hedgehog, which was awesome. I also love superhero movies. Guardians of the Galaxy and the Dark Knight Trilogy are my favorite ones to re-watch.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found through first-hand experiences and trial and error that the happiest way to live is by following the commandments. I know that God loves me and that Jesus felt all my pains, sorrows, and anguish in the garden of Gethsemane, and that through repentance and because of his atonement I can live with Heavenly Father and my family again when I die. I know that God loves you and that He wants each of us to return to Him and to find happiness.

How I live my faith

I start and end every day with a prayer to thank Heavenly Father for my blessings, including my family and friends. I study the scriptures each day and do my best to relate the stories from the prophets to myself, and strive to live in a Christlike manner towards those around me. At church, me and my older brother team teach the 6-8 year-olds. We have fun each week teaching the simple truths of the gospel, and in doing so, my testimony of the gospel has been strengthened.
