Hi I'm Christopher

I'm a hardworking happy guy who loves his family and is going on a mission to Japan. I'm a scholar and musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m the oldest of four children. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but have also lived in New York, Texas, Ohio, Japan, and Italy. I’ve grown to love traveling and have been all over the globe. I’m really close with my family. I enjoy snowboarding, reading, building things, and playing music. I play a little of violin, piano, guitar, and I sing. I enjoy learning and excelled in high school. After my mission I will go to BYU in Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of this church. It has done so much to help me grow closer to Christ and overall as a better person. The church is like a second family, which I really appreciate. Moving around so much, I’ve always had somewhere to go for help or just for a friend. I feel safe and happy living the gospel. Being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints has helped me feel that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me individually and unconditionally. I’ve found that this is the true church, and will best prepare me to be the best person I can be.

How I live my faith

Living your faith is to put into practice what you believe by following Christ’s teachings and trying to be like him even in the small things of life. I try to do this as best as I can. Simple things like having a smiling face and being nice have done so much to help me feel happy and know that I’m following His footsteps. Service is one of the best ways to show your love for Him and for others. Big things like helping clean up after Japan’s 9.0 earthquake, or small things like talking with someone who’s feeling down make me feel like I’m making a difference. I’m about to leave on a mission and devote the next two years to the Lord teaching and serving the people of Japan.
