Hi I'm Aki

I was born in Tokyo and grew up in Virginia. I am studying in college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the Church my entire life. I am Japanese, but I grew up mostly in the United States. I love learning about different cultures and discovering similarities and differences between them. My interests include reading, watching movies, or attending any fine art performances. I am studying peacebuilding in college.

Why I am a Mormon

My family is members of the Church, so I grew up learning about its teachings. As I became older and faced challenges of my own, I came to learn to rely on God. With every challenges overcome and blessings received, my faith and the desire to follow His gospel have increased slowly but surely. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, and I can gain eternal happiness by following the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings of Christ. I want to be the best person that I can be, and I try to be better in how I think and act each day. I am a firm believer in leading by example, so I strive to be someone that others can look to as a righteous daughter of our Heavenly Father.
