Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in the foothills of Utah Valley, have been called to serve an LDS mission in Roseville California, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a happy home with 2 sisters and 2 brothers, mom and dad, and a dog named Bandit. I love music and running and cooking and hand lettering and photography and learning new skills and meeting new people! I have played violin for 10 years, piano for about the same, and enjoy sharing my abilities with others. I ran track and cross country in high school, where I found my passion for running and discovering the capacities of my mind, body, and soul. I just finished my first year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and plan to study Journalism, a career path which will combine several of my interests including story telling, photography, and a thirst for the unknown and unpredictable. I'm taking an 18 month break to serve an LDS mission in Roseville, California, before I get back to the grind.

Why I am a Mormon

Yes, I grew up in a family composed of Mormons - but that's not the only reason why I chose to be an active member of the LDS faith today. I have first-handedly seen the goodness that the gospel of this religion brings to its members, and the light that emanates from those who abide by its teachings. Being an active part of the Mormon faith has brought so much joy and love into my life, and I know I would feel a void without it.

How I live my faith

I love my congregation! I grew up in Utah where my ward family (congregation composed of the members of the LDS church in our geographical neighborhood) was very close-knit, loving and supportive. I have learned so much from the wonderful examples around me, and through serving in various leadership opportunities both in my family congregation and my student congregation while at college. The examples of so many faithful members around me have inspired me to share the happy, hopeful message of the gospel that I have grown up knowing and loving with those around me as I serve an 18-month LDS mission.
