Hi I'm Annastersia Caupain

Hello! My name is Annastersia, I was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands and I moved to England in the year 2006 and I am a convert.

About Me

I come from a really large family, my mother is one of 9, however I only have one sibling, my family are great and mean a lot to me. I love singing, acting and dancing. I have recently finished studying Health and Social Care, Applied Science and Performing arts at college. One day I would love to become a nurse. I have been a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter- Day Saints for 7 years in November 2017, when I joined the church I was only 12 and I am currently the only active member in my family. Joining the church was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I can really see how my life has been changed and blessed because of the gospel. I'm always trying to be the best I can be and live my life the best way I can, even though it may be difficult at times.

Why I am a Mormon

I have only been a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter- Day Saints for 6 years, which have been the best six years of my life but it doesn't mean it has been easy. When I was 11 I started having missionaries lessons with the most amazing and patient missionaries in my ward. I also started to attend church with my father and young sister as well as this I was attending youth activities. As a year went on my parents allowed my sister and I to get baptised, even though I was young I could feel like this was the right choice for me to make. I have lovely people in my ward who have always offered to take us to church, activities and seminary and I always wondered if the gospel wasn't true why would people go out of their way to serve my family and like that? As I grew older, my faith grew stronger and stronger and although my journey in the church has not always been easy, my Saviour Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father have always been there and I have always been able to feel their love for me. I continue to follow the gospel because when I read my scriptures I can really feel of the truthfulness of them, I am able to relate to them and feel peace when I read them. When I pray I know that my Heavenly Father is listening. There are many events in my life that have allowed me to know that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter- Day Saints really is true, I know that the Lord led the missionaries to my family and I and although they are not all members there will come a time where they will love the gospel as much as I do. I am going on my mission because it would really be selfish of me to not share this amazing gospel with the people in Canada. I know this church is true! I love this gospel, I know it, I love it, I live it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a number of different way! I currently have a calling as the Young Women Secretary and I am also a Nursery Leader. I love teaching the Young Women of my ward lessons about the gospel, I also love teaching my little children in Nursery and watching them grow every week is pretty amazing. I will also be serving a mission for my church, I will be serving in the Canada Calgary Mission, I cannot wait to go out and serve the people of Canada and especially serve my Lord and my Saviour Jesus Christ.
