Hi I'm TJ

I grew up in Utah and moved to Vegas with my family after I graduated high school. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Three of my biggest hobbies are: snowboarding, shooting, and playing video games. I am the oldest of 6 kids (yes it's a circus). I started taking college courses at the age of 16 while I was attending high school, and am planning on continuing my education after I serve my mission. I am going into business management with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. I love spending time with my family and friends, and cherish the relationships that I have with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with a very active family, and as such, I just kind of adopted the religion. It wasn't until recently that I truly experienced a "conversion" so-to-speak, and I knew for a surety that the Gospel is true. Since that moment, I have wanted to serve others and share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because it brings me such pure happiness, and I want others to experience that happiness as well. I know that this Gospel is true, because I have seen the difference it makes in people's lives, and I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are real, because I've felt it through the power of the Holy Ghost. I know these things to be true, and I know that others may come to the same knowledge.

How I live my faith

In my ward in Las Vegas, I have been called to work as a Primary Worker. This means that I teach children (in my case, 10-year old's), about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's a lot of work, and I often find that keeping the children focused on the lesson is the hardest part. In the past I have served as president in the young mens program, and have helped organize and facilitate the activities of the young men.
