Hi I'm Tyler Sahagun

I grew up in Enoch, Utah. I love to run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent high school graduate getting ready to serve a mission. I have been called to serve in the Montevideo, Uruguay mission and report to the Mexico MTC on November 7th. I love to play soccer and run. I recently just ran my first marathon in St. George, Utah. When I get back from my mission I plan on going to school at SUU. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also love dogs.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and was raised in it. Growing up it was really the only thing I knew. However, as I matured and learned more about the world and other religions, I began to question if any of this was true. I really struggled for a long time on my own trying to decide and determine if it was true. Finally I decided to read the Book of Mormon and pray about the church to gain a better understanding. Through promptings from the spirit I now know that these things are true and it wasn't just a lightbulb moment where I went, "Oh of course all of this is true." Testimonies don't come suddenly in a snap. It took a lot of prayer and faith to get me where I am today. Even just observing my life and the way the gospel has helped me strengthens my testimony. However, even after feeling like I had gained a testimony there were still times I felt as if I had doubts. In those times I was able to rely on the testimony of the apostles and those around me. While that won't last forever, it is a good support hold to grasp to while you try to find your own testimony.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by preparing for my mission. I try my best to serve those in and out of my community in anyway I can. Whether that be helping teach classes for the youth or doing yard work.
