Hi I'm Alessandro

I grew up in Maryland. I plan to pursue a career in accounting or real estate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into the church and both of my parents are converts from other religions. Although I was baptized at the age of 8 like the majority of members since birth, I consider myself a convert. I was fully converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of 17. Since then I have decided to serve a full time mission. I am a basketball fanatic, both college and NBA. (Terps and Wizards will always be my team) I also love to play futsal and soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

As I said before, I went to this church all my life. Sometimes I only went because my parents would take me. The reason why I never left the church even in times when I was full of doubt is because I realized that this is the only true way to a state of happiness that can never be imagined. I faced many things as a teen and struggled to find good friends and just to be happy. One day I realized that the things I had been doing were not according to the way God wants me to live. So I knelt down in prayer and asked for forgiveness and the strength to change. Since that day I have done a complete 180 degree turnaround and have found the light. With the life that I live now I can tell you that this Gospel changes lives, it is something that cannot be described with words. I give my personal witness that there is nothing more important than this in the world today. I have peace and a newfound strength in my soul. This is more than a religion, this is a way of life.

How I live my faith

The way that I live my faith is by trying to improve day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year. I am called to teach the adults in my branch for our Sunday School meetings. I attend church every Sunday and also try my best to stay worthy and strong during the week. I know for a fact that I will mess up or do something wrong but every time I do mess up I know I can get back up, repent for what I've done and strive to never do it again with the help of my Savior Jesus Christ.
