Hi I'm Bryce

I grew up mostly in southern Utah. I am in the United States Marine Corps. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am nineteen years old, and am in the reserves of the United States Marine Corps and also going to college. However I am putting that on pause for a couple years to serve a mission in Uganda, Africa. I was born in the Church and grew up doing Boy Scouts and other various Church activities. I earned my Eagle Scout rank, and am very proud of that accomplishment.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and for a while when I was around 17 I started to fall in transgression and fall away from the church. However, coming back and now being able to serve a mission, I am more happy than I have ever been in my life. I love this gospel and its teachings. It has brought me and my family such joy and happiness that I can barely comprehend it. I know that what is taught is true, and I strive with all my strength to live its teachings.

How I live my faith

Lately I have been living my faith by participating in whatever service projects I can and setting a good example. In my singles ward, I was the Family Home Evening coordinator. That just means that I organized our Family Home Evening, which is usually held every Monday by LDS families. Being in a singles ward most of the members are not with their families and we set up activities and spiritual lessons for them to attend. It is a good way to help everyone to feel welcome and get to know each other. I am leaving on a mission though, so I am going to live my faith by trying to bring others into its folds and teachings.
