Hi I'm Aubrey Pulsipher

I'm from Temecula, CA. I'm a student at BYU-I. I'm serving a mission in Oklahoma City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a house full of boys. I am the only girl in my family with 5 brothers, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I played volleyball from the time I was in elementary school until high school. I loved playing volleyball and still do whenever I get the chance. After graduating from high school i moved to Rexburg, ID for college. There, at BYU-I, I decided that I wanted to major in dental hygiene and I wanted to serve a mission. I finished 1 year of school and will now be serving the people of Oklahoma City spanish speaking for the next 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the things that are taught in this church are true. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who created a beautiful plan for us. This plan is a plan of Happiness. We will all be able to live again with Him and our families after this life. We are able to do so because Jesus Christ came down to this earth and died so that our sins can be washed away. I am a Mormon because I know that The Book of Mormon is true. Whenever I a confused, lost, sad, or just need to be comforted I know that The Book of Mormon will be that help for me. There is no other book on the earth that can do this and that is just one of the reasons I know The Book of Mormon is true. I am a Mormon because the teachings that I grew up learning have helped me become the person I am today and I am proud of who I have become and will become. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures, both The Bible and The Book of Mormon. I live my faith by praying to my Heavenly Father and trying to grow a relationship with Him. I live my faith by attending my church services weekly on Sundays. I live my faith by serving others that I think might need help that day. I live my faith by going to the Temple regularly. I live my faith by smiling at people while in public. I live my faith by striving to make my Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ proud through my actions.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Aubrey Pulsipher
Mormons believe in the Bible along with the Book of Mormon. We love both of these books and find so much guidance, comfort, and doctrine from the Bible. The Bible contains great history of our beloved savior Jesus Christ. We revere the teachings from the Bible and stories taught in this sacred book. It is known however that we believe in another book as well. This is the Book of Mormon. Through reading both the Bible and the Book of Mormon the full truth is revealed. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
