Hi I'm Katie

I grew up in Utah. I'm a registered Emergency Medical Technician, preparing to serve a full-time mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was raised in a small town in Utah, I'm the youngest of seven and there is an eleven year gap. I love the outdoors, I grew up with the mountains all around me. I love to run, and play volleyball. I love to paint, draw, and sculpt. I just finished my generals at college, my plan is to major in Nursing and minor in art. I really love to help people, I'm an EMT right now and hope to progress in the medical field.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, my mother was also an active member her whole life. My father however came from an inactive family and became active in his teens right before meeting my mother. I was baptized and became a member at age eight, by my father. I really became converted however when I was in high school attending seminary classes, and came to know for myself that this church was true. I know with all my heart and soul that this church has Jesus Christ at the head. I love and support this church, and plan to be a faithful member my whole life.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings every Sunday morning. I go to the Temple once a week with my parents for a few hours. I've been preparing to serve a full-time LDS mission for the past four months. To do so I read my scriptures every day, have personal prayers as well as family prayer. I study the new language I will be speaking.
