Hi I'm Jacob

I grew up in Glendale Arizona, I graduated from mountain ridge high school, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've spent most of my time living here in Glendale where it's hot, but I am PASSIONATE about snowboarding. (kind of ironic) but someday I'm going to live somewhere I can do it every day. I was a pretty average student in highschool, a's and b's but I loved to run track. Most people will wonder why I would want to go out in the hot sun and torture myself, but for some weird reason I liked it. I did all the sprints, the 100, 200, 400 and I did high jump on the side. there is just nothing like that adrenaline rush you get before a race when you are getting into your blocks. It makes all the training you put into it worth it.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has blessed my life in so many ways. every Sunday I have the opportunity to take the sacrament and renew my covenants (or promises) with God. I get to hear insights and teachings from people who are not paid, but are people who are motivated by the spirit. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that The Book of Mormon is true and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that our Heavenly Father knows us on a personal level and I have felt His hand I'm my life. My prayers have been answered and the spirit has personally guided me in my life. I know that I will see my loved ones again and I find comfort in knowing Gods eternal plan for us, as His children.

How I live my faith

The church is organized in things called stakes and wards. there are however many wards in 1 stake, and it depends on where you live what ward you are in. In my ward I don't hold a calling in the church yet because I'm 18, but I do have home teaching responsibilities. Me and another guy in my ward will go and visit the family that I'm assigned to every month and ask them how they are doing and if they need anything. Ive had
