Hi I'm John W. Johnson

I am a former Air Force Special Operations weather team member, a former fire fighter and retired Deputy Sheriff. I am a Mormon

About Me

I served on the Special Operations Weather Team During the Vietnam war with The U.S. Air Force. After leaving the military I worked briefly for the Seattle Fire Department and then spent 40 years with the King County Sheriff's department before retiring in 2012. I am currently retired and living with my wife in Payson, Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my conviction in the Church and it's divine creation leaves no other reasonable option. I recognize the blessings of my Father in Heaven and the sacrifice of my Savior for me. As the result of a teen age crises, I was humbled to the point of seeking answers regarding the church. The answer I received was undeniable and has provided life long re-enforcement to my conviction

How I live my faith

I have served as gospel principals and gospel doctrine teachers. I have taught primary for 9, 10 & 11year olds. I have served as elders quorum president and high priest group leader. I served a mission in the Central Atlantic States mission. I have served as a ward missionary and ward mission leader.
