Hi I'm Brittney Searle

I was born and raised in Utah. I am 20 years old. I love to spend time with family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go camping with my family, I also enjoy fishing. I have tried a lot of different hobbies growing up such as; gymnastics, basketball, dance, piano, violin, and choir. Choir was my favorite class in high school. I absolutely love animals, if I could own every animal, I would. I have a dog of my own, a Golden Retriever. I have completed 2 years of college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church my whole life. At the age of 8 I was able to choose for myself if I wanted to be baptized into this church, which I did. So I have been a member since I was 8 years old. At that age I knew that what I was doing was right, I felt good inside, and I know this church is the true church. At the time I didn't understand everything but I have experienced a lot in my life and I know the comfort, joy, and peace that this church brings. I would say the time I relied and came closest to Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ, was in the hardest times of my life. In our hardest time the best people to rely on are our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They love us so much, and They want to help us. If we turn to Them in prayer, I know that They will hear us. They love us so much that They have given us scriptures that we can read. In my hardest times, the scriptures- The Book of Mormon, gave me comfort. I was able to feel happier once I read from this book. I know that The Book of Mormon is true. I testify that if you read it you will feel happier, and will be able to know who Jesus Christ is, and who our Heavenly Father is. I know that this church is true. We have a Savior who suffered and died for not only our sins but also our hard times. He has felt every pain, guilt, and sorrow that we have experienced. This gives me comfort in knowing that I am not going through life alone. He gave us a way to repent, that we might be clean. I know that there is life after death. I know that families can be eternal. If we follow the commandments, repent, have faith in Jesus Christ, and endure to the end we can live again. I know this church is true, it brings me so much happiness. It has been the only way I have made it through my hard times. God loves us, He wants us to return. I know this to be true, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I have a calling where me and my assigned companion have 2 fellow church members/families that we go visit every month. We just check up on them and make sure that they are doing okay, and if they need help with anything.
