Hi I'm Amanda Chipman

I will soon be a missionary in the Port Vila Vanuatu Mission specifically in the New Caledonia mission region. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love flowers, hiking, watermelon, high school musical, and the ocean. Baking cakes, cookies, and biscuits makes me happy. I have a twin and she's been my best friend since forever. I am a student at Brigham Young University Hawaii. I found the most amazing friends there. I study psychology and am a bit obsessed with it. I was just called on a mission to Port Vila Vanuatu in the New Caledonia Mission Region.

Why I am a Mormon

The knowledge I have because of this gospel makes me happier then anything else in this world. I know that God loves me and everyone on this earth. I know my purpose. I know I have a divine destiny. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ died for me and that he did so that I may live again. I know how I can be forever happy with those I love. I would be lost without this knowledge and that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

It's mostly in the little things. Always reading scriptures and praying daily. Going to church and the temple each week. Listening to the prophets and trying my best to do God's will. I was called to be a president of the girls in my ward when I was 17. I helped to plan the activities and conduct them. I also helped to plan a girls summer camp that was meant to build spiritual, mental, and physical strength. When I went to college I was asked to help plan activities for the whole ward every Monday. They helped create a family feel in a foreign place.
