Hi I'm Jack

I'm a student, musician, and a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Among my hobbies are swimming, playing the flute, reading, and playing board games with my friends. I love to be outside when the hills are green and the sun shines through the clouds; any excuse to be outside with friends and family is a good one. I'm on a mission for the Church right now in St. Louis, Missouri, and after I'm back I will go to Brigham-Young University to study Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is being part of a worldwide community of people with common values and goals. We endeavor to manifest love for all of God's children, so we give our time and talents in service, teaching, and building each other up. We are a faith of people that are all trying to be a better ourselves and those around us every. single. day. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that God loves all of His children unconditionally, and so we should strive to as well. I have felt this in my heart, and I have seen it in the hearts of those that call themselves Mormons.

How I live my faith

One thing I love about our Church is the abundance of opportunities to serve. Through our Church, I had the opportunity to be a part of Boy Scouts of America, which is a service-based organization. In our troop, we participated in and put together many service activities for those in our community. In High School, I received the opportunity to be on a committee that organized activities for all of the youth in our city. It was a lot of fun putting together games and other activities that people I knew and didn't know got to participate in!
