Hi I'm McKenzee

I grew up moving around the United States. I love competitive swimming. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to swim. I have been competitively swimming for seven years, I have thoroughly enjoyed every second of my swimming career. I have a loving family, my parents are both incredible people and my little brother and sister are my best friends. I recently graduated high school and am looking forward to serve a mission in Mexico at the end of September.

Why I am a Mormon

For the first decade of my life I went to church because that's what my family did and I liked the things I learned and the feelings I felt while I was there. I began to study and slowly grow my testimony. However, I had an experience when I was fourteen years old that allowed me to become truly converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Near the end of my 8th grade year I had a very close friend of mine pass away in a tragic accident. I had never felt more alone in my entire life. As I turned to my Heavenly Father and asked for his help and strength through my trial I felt more love than I have ever felt. Through my experience I learned that God loves me, He knows exactly who I am, and the struggles I face. I learned that God loved us so much that He sent His son to die for not only our sins, but so we would have someone to turn to when we had struggles like I was having. Jesus Christ felt every worldly pain and sorrow anyone has ever felt. This knowledge comforted me through my trial and helped me feel that I was not alone. I know without a shadow of a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

Before I received my mission call I was Laurel's class president in my young women's class at church. In my calling I would plan and organize various activities to help the other girls in my ward come closer to each other and to our Heavenly Father. Since receiving my mission call I have worked hard to share my feelings about the church because I know it to be the true church of Jesus Christ.
