Hi I'm Keegan

I love using my talents to provide for my family, I believe that children's imaginations need to be cherished. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska. I wouldn't change my childhood for anything, it was not perfect of course, but I learned to have fun with whatever I had in front of me so it was great. My creative imagination has helped out in life more then I can explain. It helps me to come up with creative ways to overcome problems, set high expectations in life, and always comes in handy when teaching little kids. I have been homeschooled almost all of my life and have loved every second of it. I love to play the game of basketball and want to raise awareness that homeschoolers do play competitive sports. I want to be an example in peoples lives that you can truly accomplish amazing things in your life if you will give it your all.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I can tell you this, I am not a Mormon because I have to be. I am a Mormon because It is the only way that I can have an eternal family and return to live with my loving heavenly father again. I am a Mormon because I see miracles in my every day life thanks to the restored gospel, that Jesus Christ established many years ago. I am a Mormon because it teaches me how to have a successful relationship with my family. I am a Mormon because it brings together large masses of good people together to learn About Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because it is the true gospel that is lead by the Lords prophet and apostles. Though there are many reasons as to why I am a Mormon, my testimony of this gospel is the one that trumps all others. If I did not have a testimony for myself then I would truly be lost in the gospel, I wouldn't be able to remain strong when family members fall away, or when my dad gets fired from job after job, or when my sister gets diagnosed with cancer, or when I have doubts or worry's. Because of my desires to have a testimony of the gospel for myself I have been able to come out on top of all of those situations. Because I know that Heavenly Father hears my prayers.

How I live my faith

Why I love the game of basketball is because it is a game of faith, when you feel the ball roll off of your fingertips you trust and have faith that the shot will go in. Now the thing is that there are two separate parts of faith. most people in life will get one side of it down very well, but forget about the other side completely. In life I want to master those two separate sides of faith. The first half of faith is in your actions. If you believe in something then you have to take physical actions towards it to show your faith outwardly. for example, if you want to hit that game winning shot then you have to work on your shot every single day to exercise your faith that you will get that opportunity one day. you have to prepare for the rain before it will come. The second half of faith is in your heart. Meaning when you finally get that opportunity to take that game winning shot, you have to trust that it will go in. Because if your heart is not in it when you take that shot, then you will miss it. Resulting in all of your heard work being lost. How do I apply this to my life? I not only try and be an example of this but I want others to know it as well. When someone asks me why they have not received answer to prayer I first ask them "what are you doing to received an answer to that prayer, have you searched the scriptures? Have you asked and looked for help?" if they say Yes I would say "was your heart in it? did you pour your heart out in prayer? did you actually believe that you would receive an answer?"

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?
