Hi I'm Audra

I was born in Arizona, raised in Idaho. I am a student, I love the outdoors. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have seven brothers, 5 older, and 2 younger. My mom divorced when I was 3, and married my dad when I was 7. My parents have been a big part in helping me build my testimony of this gospel on a firm foundation. My dad is Hawaiian, and it has been so fun to have that culture a part of my life. I grew up in small towns across Idaho. I love riding horses, camping, hiking, swimming, fishing. Anything with water or the outdoors I love. Playing sports is also one of my favorite activities, any sport. I also love playing games with family and friends. I am going to college to become a Child Life Specialist.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel with all my heart and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is the true church of God. It has brought me more happiness than anything in the world. I remember the first time I started reading The Book of Mormon for myself, I was 9 years old, I had been baptized for a year. I couldn't sleep one night, so I decided to read. I read The Book of Mormon for more than 2 hours that night, and the feeling of comfort, peace, and love that I got is indescribable. I have received these feelings countless times since then. Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. He saw God, our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ, in the flesh. They are as real as I am. Our Heavenly Father is there, and he loves us, and will help us. I have received so much guidance and peace throughout my life and the hard things that happened to me. I know what it is like to loose someone you love, I know what it is like to be hurt by someone physically, and emotionally, I know what betrayal feels like, I know what it feels like to think that no one could ever love you, I know what guilt feels like after you make a mistake, and I know that Jesus Christ knows these feelings as well. Christ, our Savior, and our Brother, suffered for us, he perfectly understands any pain, or hurt we could possibly feel.. These things I know, because I have prayed about them, and felt that they were true. And anyone can know, if you pray with a sincere heart to our Heavenly Father; who loves you more than words can say.

How I live my faith

I am about to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I will leave my home in November to go to Florida for 18 months and I will serve those I come in contact with and share the gospel; I am so excited!
