Hi I'm Brenden

I grew up in Arizona, the oldest of nine children. I have a passion for music and basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona. I love football, basketball and playing piano. I am preparing to serve a full time mission in Madrid, Spain. I have deferred my enrollment for college attendance and plan to attend Brigham Young University in Provo starting in 2020.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I know they love me. I love living and knowing that I have a purpose in my life. I know I have a purpose because of something that we call the Plan of Salvation and I am grateful beyond comparison for it. The Gospel is the most important thing in my life because it assures me that if I do my part I will be able to live with my Heavenly Father, family, and Jesus Christ forever as one eternal family. And I can't think of anything better than that. Everyday I have the opportunity to strive to keep the commandments which will get me closer to my Father in Heaven and fulfilling my divine purpose. I love this gospel so much and I want everyone to be given the opportunity to learn of it and know that they have a purpose too.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to be the pianist for my church men's group for the last five years. It gives me the chance to practice songs that are uplifting to me personally in preparation for playing for the group each Sunday. I have been able to perform service with the full time missionaries in my community to help others in many different ways. I follow the gospel standards in my daily life so that I can be an example of Christ to all those who I encounter. I've had the chance to participate in a musical cultural celebration for a new temple and have been able to take my friends to tour a temple before it's dedication to share my beliefs with them and allow them to see a beautiful, holy house of my Father in Heaven.
